Data Science Projects

NSCORE's Data Science Projects (DSPs) offer hands-on experience with real-world data. Everything runs virtually, so you can collaborate and build connections from anywhere. Take on a DSP on your own or as a team of 2–4 members; either way, a group of mentors supports you along the way. DSPs are open to learners at every level: community college and undergraduate students, graduate and postgraduate students, researchers, staff, and professors.

NSCORE is developing these DSPs with the Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub and the National Student Data Corps (NSDC), whose mentors have pioneered guided projects that teach data pre-processing, visualization, storytelling, and programming.
