As October begins, we honor the strength, courage, and resilience of everyone affected by breast cancer. In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Columbia University’s Fall 2026 Blood Drive Campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of this disease and providing vital support to cancer patients and everyone who relies on donated blood. According to the World Health Organization, breast cancer accounts for about 30% of all new cancer cases in the United States.

Every pint donated is more than just a unit of blood – it’s hope, strength, and another chance at life for someone fighting their hardest battle.
